Professional meetings organized within MIC are intended to address current issues and share our knowledge with people interested in these fields. We approach them with a focus on excellent professionalism and collaborative problem-solving.

  • 8 Dec 2020 – Online course: Potica preparation. Aimed at the general public, presenting the full preparation process and common errors. Conducted by: Veronika Krstanović and Gregor Sok

  • 6 Dec 2016 – Professional meeting: Locally produced food – child upbringing and supporting the local environment. Conducted by: Dr. Tina Perko, Franc Kebler, and Dr. Alenka Hmelak Gorenjak

  • 7 Mar 2016 – Workshop (in cooperation with KGZ MB): Cutting of pork meat. Organized for farms with supplementary activities

  • 5 May 2015 – Professional meeting: Impact of employees on food quality. For workers in food workshops. Conducted by: Mag. Vida Nahberger Marčič and Rosvita Arzenšek Pinter

  • 27 Nov 2014 – Professional meeting (with KGZ MB): Allergens in food and labeling. For owners of tourist farms and farms with supplementary activities. Due to new legislation, a follow-up meeting was held on 4 Dec 2014. Conducted by: Mag. Metka Senekovič and Dr. Alenka Hmelak Gorenjak

  • 26 Sep 2014 – Professional meeting: Potatoes a little differently. Topics included: nutritional value of potatoes (Dr. A. Hmelak Gorenjak), potatoes in Norway (Zdenka Masten), and potato bread making workshop (Stanko Vorih)
